August 13,2018

At the August 9, 2018 Open Meeting, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) requested that the IMM and ERCOT host a technical workshop on the filed reports concerning impacts of Real-Time Co-Optimization and Marginal Losses in PUC Project No. 47199, Project to Assess Price-Formation Rules in ERCOT’s Energy-Only Market.

The IMM and ERCOT will host the technical workshop on September 6, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Austin Met Center (Room 206). The IMM and ERCOT will present a high-level summary of the assumptions and findings in the reports before addressing technical questions and comments. Additional details (including WebEx details) will be provided on the ERCOT meeting calendar.

To aid in an effective technical workshop, ERCOT encourages stakeholders to submit any questions or comments on the reports, including software and data used for such reports. Details for submission of such questions can be found in ERCOT's market notice concerning the process
