Retail Supplier Secures Exclusive Right To Market At Subway Stations, Station Naming Rights

SEPTA, the Philadelphia-area mass transit agency, and NRG Energy announced an agreement under which the Broad Street Line subway station originally known as Pattison Station at the Sports and Entertainment Complex in South Philadelphia will become NRG Station.

Furthermore, the agreement provides NRG will receive exclusive rights to place retail energy sales agents (booths, etc.) at various SEPTA stations, Philly.com reported

Philly.com reported that NRG will pay $5.25 million under a five-year agreement

Pattison, now NRG, Station serves various sports venues including Citizens Bank Park, Lincoln Financial Field, and the Wells Fargo Center. The station sees about a million rider trips annually

NRG Go kiosks offering portable power packs that riders can rent to charge phones and other electronic devices will be offered at several SEPTA stations as well
