ERCOT Sets New July Peak

ERCOT set a new July peak demand record on the afternoon of July 3, at 69,647 MW between 4 and 5 p.m., based on preliminary operating data

ERCOT had also recently set a new June peak demand record on June 30, at 69,031 MW between 4 and 5 p.m., based on preliminary operating data. That mark was more than 1,100 MW higher than the peak set on June 1.
