FirstEnergy Offers Buyouts To 600 Shared Services Employees Due To Shift Away From Competitive Biz

FirstEnergy Corp. is offering about 600 employees in its Shared Services group buyout offers The Business Journal (Youngstown, OH) reports

While affected employees are in shared services, a FirstEnergy spokesperson said that the buyout offers result from the company's exit from various competitive businesses, and transition of the shared services group to supported a regulated-only company
