Constellation has transitioned the brand of its mass market retail provider in Texas to be "Constellation", dropping use of the StarTex Power brand for current and new customers

StarTex Power has been a part of Constellation since 2011.

In a blog post, Constellation stated, "After several years of extensive research, we have decided to operate under one unified company name."

"The move to a single name across all markets will help eliminate ambiguity for our customers and enable us to lay a foundation for us to provide customers more innovative products and solutions in the very near future," said Kevin Klages, senior vice president of mass markets for Constellation.
