LIPA Power Supply Charge to Increase 27% in November, Following 24% Increase Last Month

The power supply charge for Long Island Power Authority customers will increase 27% in November to 9.34 cents per kWh from the current 7.36 cents, Newsday reports.

This follows a 24% increase last month.

Newsday reports that the increases are required to recover undercollections from prior months.
