Fall River, MA (Pop. ~90,000) Considering Municipal Aggregation

Fall River, Massachusetts, the 10th largest city in the state, is considering whether to join a regional group to pursue an opt-out municipal electric aggregation as part of the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District, The Herald News reports.

Fall River has a population just under 90,000.

According to The Herald News, cities working with the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development include Freetown, Rehoboth, Acushnet, Seekonk, Norton, Swansea, Westport, Fairhaven and Plainville, with New Bedford leaders also looking at the group.
