Elizabeth Garza, the former Deputy Director, has been named as the Director of the Independent Market Monitor (IMM) for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power region, Potomac Economics, the IMM, announced

Garza has been with Potomac Economics since 2008, acting as Deputy Director of the IMM. She has also been serving as the Acting Director after the resignation of Daniel Jones from the post in March 2014.

Prior to joining Potomac Economics, Garza was responsible for developing and implementing ERCOT’s inaugural congestion revenue rights market.
