Luminant Clarifies Plants Have Not Been Sold, After PGC Application Of Suitor Lists As Assets
March 26,2018
Luminant filed a letter with the Texas PUC clarifying that three of its generating stations have not been sold, after a suitor listed the facilities under the suitor's ownership in the suitor's application for a new power generation company registration
As explained by Luminant, "Yesterday in Docket No. 48196, Aspire Power Ventures, LP, filed an application attesting that it owns three generating facilities, Stryker Creek, Graham and Trinidad. Please take note that Aspire Power Ventures, LP is one participant in a competitive bidding process to acquire these facilities in the event that they must be divested by Luminant Generation Company LLC, Power Generation Company License No. 20202; but Aspire Power Ventures, LP does not currently own the facilities. They continue to be owned by Luminant Generation Company LLC."
The referenced PGC application had been filed by Rural Route 3 Holdings, LP, an affiliate of Aspire Power Ventures, LP
