Star Energy Partners Solar announced that it will begin offering "black solar panels", which it described as better performing and more aesthetically pleasing.

"Black panels are not only more attractive – they are also made of black silicon and are monocrystalline, which means that they have a higher peak efficiency and power output than the common polycrystalline solar panels," Star Energy Partners Solar said.
