State Sen. Says Retail Suppliers Placing Incorrect Rates On Bills, Seeks Investigation, Refunds

February 14,2018

Connecticut State Sen. Len Suzio is seeking an investigation of Eversource (Connecticut Light & Power) after alleging incorrect rate information was included on his bill and he was over-charged, the New Haven Register reports

According to the Register, Suzio uses a third-party supplier

Eversource says that suppliers are responsible for providing their rate information to be listed on the bills

Suzio is seeking fines for suppliers which don't provide future rates on the bills or which list incorrect info, and is seeking refunds for customers who overpaid as a result of any incorrect info listed on the bills
