Group Including NV Energy Could Spend $30 Million To Defeat Nevada Electric Choice Ballot Question

February 06,2018

The Nevada Independent reports that a new group, which includes NV Energy, could spend $30 million in opposition to the 2018 ballot initiative which, if approved, would require the introduction of retail electric choice in the state

The Independent reports that the $30 million pledged to defeat the electric choice initiative by members of Coalition to Defeat Question 3 significantly exceeds amounts recently spent on even high-profile controversial ballot measures in the state (such as gun control)
