CBS Boston: How To Protect Yourself From Unwanted Electric Bill Changes (From Retail Suppliers)

November 15,2017

WBZ-CBS Boston ran a story cautioning customers to check their electricity bill to determine if the customer has been switched to a retail supplier without the customer's authorization or knowledge

WBZ reports, "There’s an easy way for companies to make changes to your bill without your permission. And it usually starts with a knock at the door."

WBZ continues, "Many times these third party energy suppliers don’t make it clear who they are working for when they call or show up at your home."
