Texas Electricity Ratings Launches "People’s Choice" Awards For Texas Retail Providers

November 01,2017

Texas Electricity Ratings has created a "People's Choice" rankings, "of the major Retail Electricity Providers in the state of Texas based purely on customer reviews."

Based on a rolling 6 month average, Direct Energy placed higher in Texas Electricity Ratings' People's Choice rankings, followed by 4Change Energy and Champion Energy

Unlike Texas Electricity Ratings' original ranking of REPs, the People's Choice rankings rate REPs solely on reviews from customers. Rankings were based on customer reviews and scores across multiple ratings categories, including: Price Plans and Promotions, Order Experience, Billing and Account Management, and Customer Service.

In addition to the overall People's Choice rankings, Texas Electricity Ratings published People's Choice rankings for various categories, such as Best Plans and Promotions, Best Customer Service, etc.
