Pennsylvania Adopts State Budget With No PJM Transaction Tax

PJM informed stakeholders that Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has approved a revenue package for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania for its 2018 fiscal year.

"That revenue package was also supported by both houses of the PA legislature and does not include any new taxes on any transactions billed by PJM to its members, including the potential Electric Grid Virtual Financial Transactions Tax that the PA Senate had initially proposed this past summer," PJM said
