American Light & Power is offering customers a free month of electricity service after completing 12 months of service.

American Light & Power's Get It Free plan, available to Texas residential customers, is an auto-pay and e-billing 12-month fixed plan that will pay the customer for their 13th month of service up to $250.

To receive the free month, customers must re-contract with American Light & Power at the end of their 12-month term for a term no less than 3 months. Automatic renewal onto a default month-to-month plan at the end of the 12-month term is not a qualifying renewal

In the Oncor service area, the EFL for American Light & Power's Get It Free 12 plan lists an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 10.25¢/kWh. A $175 early termination fee applies.
