The Illinois Citizens Utility Board yesterday issued an alert titled, "Uh oh! 4 Signs Of Trouble In The Electric Market ."
Citing complaints and a recent investigation against retail suppliers in Illinois, the alert warns customers about, "questionable marketing, hidden charges, high-pressure sales tactics, and changing [aggregation] deals."
