On September 27, 2017, ERCOT received an update to the Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource: BARNEY M DAVIS UNIT 1 (RE) - BARNEY DAVIS (B_DAVIS_B_DAVIG1)

The proposed effective date for the suspension of BARNEY M DAVIS UNIT 1 (RE) - BARNEY DAVIS (B_DAVIS_B_DAVIG1) is December 31, 2017.

The NSO indicated that the Resource will be decommissioned and retired on December 31, 2017. The NSO further indicated that the Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 300 MW, and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating 60 MW.

Pursuant to requirements under ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.2 (3), ERCOT issued an initial determination that this Generation Resource is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability. Pursuant to Section 3.14.1.2 (5), this Notice will also serve as the final determination, and the Resource may be decommissioned according to the schedule in the NSO.
