Poll: Ohioans Consider Regulated Compensation for Merchant Power Plants a "Bailout"

A plurality of Ohioans consider plans for regulated utilities to guarantee compensation to affiliated merchant generation to amount to a "bailout," The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports, citing a recent poll.

The poll found 47% of respondents considered such proposals a "bailout."

The poll was commissioned by Sierra Club and Public Citizen
