FirstEnergy Corp. said that it will launch a new e-commerce website on Monday, October 9, called Smartmart by FirstEnergy, "offering a range of proven and practical solutions that help consumers better meet the demands of today's busy and complex lifestyles."

FirstEnergy said that at www.smart-mart.com, "shoppers will be able to find the tools, technologies and services to help them live and work smarter and ensure greater peace of mind."

Notably, "With some products and services, customers of a FirstEnergy utility company can make simple, straightforward payments on their electric bill."

Current residential products on the site include:

• Connected Home Plan, includes smart thermostat, HVAC monitoring

• EV Charger Lease

• LEDs

• Surge Protection, etc.

• Security and other home lighting

• Disaster Protection Plan

• Electrical services

• Tree services

The products in Smartmart are the result of research into trends for the home, lifestyle, communities and businesses – such as smart home systems and new, energy-saving lighting technology – as well as proven, conventional solutions, including professional electrical services and cost-effective home warranty and repair plans. New products will be added to the website as they are developed.
