The Financial Times reports that U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May said the government would present a draft bill for an electricity and natural gas retail price cap next week
The FT reports that the latest price cap is expected to be more expansive (and closer to an original concept outlined before the general election) and cover all standard variable tariffs, as opposed to later iterations that would have only targeted vulnerable customers on safeguard tariffs
