Integrys Energy Services Revamping Pricing Structure for Chicago Aggregation

July 24,2014

Integrys Energy Services is revising its pricing structure for Chicago's municipal electric aggregation, the Chicago Tribune reports

According to the Chicago Tribune, the new rate design will separate customers into 10 usage-based categories to determine the amount of the customer's flat monthly generation charge -- a charge unique to the Chicago aggregation meant to recover capacity costs.

"Under the new rate structure, customers living in multi-family units will pay anywhere from $3.99 per month to $22.36 per month and single-family homes will pay between $19.99 and $29.99 per month depending on their usage," the Chicago Tribune reports
