NRG Energy has launched a redesigned website, and what stands out to us, aside from the new page for its SureCharge mobile charger lockers (see related story today), is the prominence that home services takes on the site.

NRG, through Reliant, has offered a suite of home services, including repair and warranty plans, in partnership with Allied Warranty, but the new site places an increasing emphasis on the NRG Home Services brand.

NRG Home Services is now available in the following states, according to its website, though the breadth of services and plans does vary by state:

• Arizona

• Illinois

• Maryland

• Pennsylvania

• Texas
