Parent Of Retail Supplier Closes On Sale Of Two Power Plants

Dynegy Inc. has closed on the previously reported sale of its Dighton and Milford energy facilities to Starwood Energy Group Global.

As previously reported, the $119 million in proceeds from the sale will go toward debt reduction.

The sale was part of a mitigation plan approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regarding Dynegy's purchase of ENGIE’s US-based asset portfolio.
