Texas PUC Staff File Report On Benefits/Costs Of Entergy Texas MISO Membership

September 22,2017

Texas PUC Staff posted, and (after such direction is confirmed by the Commission) will likely seek comment on, a study by a consultant retained by Staff which analyzed a recent draft report by Entergy Texas which examined costs/benefits of MISO membership to date and future costs/benefits

Staff's consultant said that its analysis and findings, "support the conclusion reported by ETI that membership in MISO will continue to produce net economic benefits via supply cost savings in the future as compared to other reasonably-available operating scenarios."
