PSC Proposes Changes To Retail Supplier Service Quality Rules

August 14,2017

The District of Columbia PSC has proposed changes to its natural gas service quality standards, which include billing error notification and compliance reporting requirements for retail gas suppliers

The proposed changes, with respect to suppliers, do not contain major changes.

However, the PSC does propose to add to the rules themselves specific language concerning penalties for non-compliance stating that, "Failure to comply with the remaining Subsections of this chapter may result in the penalties set forth in D.C. Official Code § 34-706 (a) for failure to comply with Commission rules and regulations"
