ERCOT Files Budget, Proposed System Administration Fee

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) filed with the Texas PUC its 2018/2019 Biennial Budget and System Administration Fee submission

The 2018/2019 ERCOT biennial budget included in this submission does not contemplate a change in the ERCOT System Administration Fee of $0.555 per megawatt-hour (MWh) for 2018 and 2019

ERCOT also stated that ERCOT plans to maintain the system admin. fee at $0.555 per MW through 2020. "The 2018/2019 ERCOT biennial budget included in this submission does not contemplate a change in the ERCOT System Administration Fee, which ERCOT plans to maintain at $0.555 per Megawatt hour (MWh) through 2020," ERCOT stated

In its prior-period submission, ERCOT had previously stated an intent to maintain the system admin. fee at $0.555 per MWh through 2019, but the fee had only been set at $0.555 per megawatt-hour (MWh) for 2016-17
