Texas PUC Spox: Choice At El Paso Electric Depends On Residents; Local, State Lawmakers

With El Paso, Texas residents frustrated with El Paso Electric service, NewsChannel 9 asked what it would take for customer choice to be introduced in the service area

NewsChannel 9 spoke with Texas PUC spokesperson Terry Hadley, who stated, "For such a big change it would take most of the support of the people of El Paso, all the lawmakers in El Paso from the state level to the local level to the municipal level to make it successful."

Hadley also noted that EPE is not currently a member of an RTO
