Report: Elliott Hires Investment Bank To Raise Capital For Oncor Deal

CNBC reports that, "Elliott Management has hired the investment banking firm Moelis to raise capital for a $9.3 billion bid for Oncor."

Yesterday, Reuters reported that, appearing before a bankruptcy judge, a lawyer for Elliott said that Oncor did not provide necessary financial information to the fund to assist it in preparing financing for an acquisition. See Reuters for more
