Retail Supplier Closes on Acquisition, Boosting Customer Count To Nearly 1 Million

Spark Energy, Inc. announced today it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Verde Energy.
This represents the tenth acquisition by Spark since the company's initial public offering in August 2014, and brings Spark to nearly 1,000,000 total RCEs.
The acquisition of Verde is effective as of July 1, 2017.
Spark financed the transaction with a combination of cash on hand and borrowings from its credit facilities.
