FERC approved a transaction under which Spark Energy's previously reported acquisition of Verde Energy is being executed

Specifically, FERC authorized the application of Verde Energy USA Inc. (Verde USA), Verde Energy USA New York, LLC (Verde New York), and Verde Energy USA Trading, LLC (Verde Trading) (collectively, Verde Companies), pursuant to section 203(a)(1)(A) of the Federal Power Act (FPA), which had requested authorization for the disposition of jurisdictional facilities resulting from a transaction in which 100 percent of the ownership interests in Verde Companies is disposed to CenStar Energy Corp. (CenStar)
