The Edison Electric Institute announced the promotion of Philip D. Moeller from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President, Business Operations Group and Regulatory Affairs, effective July 1.
Moeller, a former FERC Commissioner, will continue to serve as part of EEI's executive leadership team in EEI's Office of the President. Moeller succeeds David K. Owens, who announced in January that he is retiring on June 30.
EEI also announced that Patricia "Pat" Vincent-Collawn, chairman, president and CEO of PNM Resources, was elected chairman of the board of EEI
Also elected today were three vice chairmen: Christopher M. "Chris" Crane, president and CEO of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation; Gregory E. "Greg" Abel, chairman, president and CEO of Des Moines, Iowa-based Berkshire Hathaway Energy; and Lynn J. Good, chairman, president and CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
