CPS Energy Using Psychology to Motivate Customers To Cut Power Use

CPS Energy is using "behavioral science" techniques, data, and other drivers to get customers to reduce usage on peak days under a pilot, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

CPS estimates it could see 11 MW in demand reduction, the Express-News reports. At this time, CPS is not providing monetary or other incentives for the reductions
