Update: Bill Granting PUC Authority Over PSNH Generation Divestiture Advances

May 28,2014

The New Hampshire Business Review reports that a bill which would grant the New Hampshire PUC authority to require the divestiture of some or all of Public Service Company of New Hampshire's generation has advanced from a House-Senate conference committee, and is now ready for final votes in each chamber.

The Concord Monitor has additional details, noting that the PSNH bill has been combined with a bill addressing wind farms.

"House and Senate members of the committee of conference said they have been carefully working on the bill for months and have crafted something they believe will pass both chambers," the Concord Monitor reports.
