Texas City Conducting Opt-In Electricity Aggregation

March 21,2017

The City of Fate, Texas (population 8,800) is conducting an opt-in electricity aggregation for those area residents in the Oncor service territory, the Rockwall Banner reports

Some area residents are served by Farmers Electric Cooperative, which does not offer choice, and such customers cannot participate.

The aggregation is being run by iChoosr, the Rockwall Banner reports

iChoosr is an aggregator that has run aggregations in Europe, and its Texas entry was first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last April
