Canadian Gov’t Selects Retail Supplier For Alberta Accounts

March 21,2017

ENMAX Energy Corporation announced that it has been chosen as the exclusive supplier for the Government of Canada's electricity needs in Alberta until 2021.

Just over half of this power will go towards Department of National Defence needs while the remaining portion will support other federally-owned buildings.

ENMAX secured the contract following a public tender process.

ENMAX has supplied electricity to the Government of Canada in Alberta since 2001

During the new term about 90 percent of the overall Department of National Defence electricity requirements will be offset by RECs.
