DMN Watchdog Claims REP Marketing Deceptions "Rampant", Refuses To Call PUC By Its Name

In a pronouncement which is sure to help customers, Dallas Morning News Watchdog Dave Lieber says he will no longer call the Public Utility Commission of Texas the "Public" Utility Commission, instead referring to the Commission as the "Utility Commission" alleging the PUC is not acting in the interest of the public

Lieber expressed disappointment in the lack of bills filed this session that would address his concerns relating to minimum usage fees or tiered pricing and "deceptive" language

Lieber alleged that REPs are engaged in, "rampant marketing deceptions."
