Pa. PUC Commish: Consumers Don’t Respond Well To Aggressive Door-to-Door Marketing

During an event marking the 20th anniversary of the introduction of electric choice, Pennsylvania PUC Commissioner John Coleman, Jr. noted that consumers don't respond well to aggressive door-to-door marketing.

"Consumers don't respond well to aggressive door-to-door marketing," Coleman said

"I think we all know that and we've seen that, if you follow the Commission, some of the proceedings that we've had here and some of the actions that we unfortunately have had to take against some of the suppliers that perhaps have gotten a little bit more aggressive or a little bit more challenging in selling their product or service at the door," Coleman said

Coleman also reiterated that the PUC will not tolerate slamming
