Retail Supplier’s Purchase of Verengo Solar Assets Moves Forward

December 01,2016

Residential solar installer Verengo Inc. has called off a bankruptcy auction for its platform and certain other assets after no superior bids were received to the stalking horse bid offered by an affiliate of Crius Energy LLC, The Wall Street Journal reports

Crius' move to acquire the Verengo assets had been previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (click here for details)

Crius Energy recently highlighted the transformation of its solar business, through the Verengo acquisition as well as the previously reported acquisition of assets from SunEdison, from a reseller to a vertically integrated solar business with margins expected to potentially quadruple as a result (see story here)
