Claim: 4-8 More GW At Risk for Retirement in ERCOT, NRG CEO Says

November 04,2016

During an earnings call this morning, NRG Energy CEO Mauricio Gutierrez said, "we believe there are at least 4 to 8 more gigawatts currently at risk," of retirement in ERCOT.

None of these cited GW are NRG units, Gutierrez said

Gutierrez made the claim in a continued push for ERCOT market pricing "reforms", including ORDC changes

Later in the call, an NRG executive said much of cited 4-8 GW are uncontrolled or unscrubbed units
