Retail Supplier Raises Capital Through EB-5 Program, Allows For Solar, Efficiency Services Growth

BlueRock Energy announced that the investors who participated in the Preferred-B Stock Offering under the EB-5 Direct Investment program from December 2014 through August 2015 have all received approvals for their respective I-526 immigrant Petitions for Alien Entrepreneurs by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Created as part of the Immigration Act of 1990, the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa program grants lawful permanent residence to foreign nationals who invest $500,000 in targeted employment areas in qualifying U.S. businesses that create or preserve at least 10 jobs in the United States per investment.

To date, 33 such jobs have been created by BlueRock Energy with more expected in 2017, BlueRock said

BlueRock said that the two million dollars invested in the company through the EB-5 program will allow BlueRock to expand its solar and energy efficient programs within New York and into other states.
