Here's The Uniform Disclosure Statement Proposed To Be Required For Illinois Electric Suppliers

September 26,2016

In a first notice order concerning retail electric supplier marketing rules, the Illinois Commerce Commission proposes to require retail electric suppliers to use a new uniform disclosure statement

All retail supplier product offers for residential and small commercial customers would require a one-page Uniform Disclosure Statement ("UDS") using the form appended to the proposed rules

See the proposed uniform disclosure statement here (Appendix A, page 33)

Adoption of a first notice order means the ICC will now submit the revisions to 83 Ill. Adm. Code 412 and 83 Ill. Adm. Code 453 to the Secretary of State to begin the first notice period required for rulemakings. The ICC will have to vote on the rules again before they are final.
