Retail Supplier Paid Customers Up To $250/MWh For Critical Peak Rebates This Summer

ENGIE Resources reported that, under its VRewards critical peak rebate program this summer, 144 customer sites were involved in the program.

This summer, participants have earned between $125 and $250 per MWh during called events, ENGIE Resources said

Depending on prices and grid conditions, ENGIE Resources may pay up to $500 per MWh under VRewards

VRewards is open to ENGIE customers that achieve a peak demand between 500 kW and 3 MW of electricity per month. The only requirements are that customers have a fixed-price contract, an interval or smart meter, and receive a monthly invoice from ENGIE.
