Altenex, an Edison Energy company, announced Connie Sasala has joined as director of strategic energy solutions. In this role, Sasala will drive new client development, strategic energy analysis and the alignment of sustainability goals with renewable energy procurement. Sasala will also focus on increasing the uptake of renewable energy purchasing among organizations.

Prior to joining Altenex, she served as the chief sustainability officer of a consulting firm to Fortune 500 clients in every sector of the economy.

Sasala also held a position as the director of the Policy and Technology Innovations Division at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
