"No More Value" In Muni Aggregations, Official Says, As Villages Return To Default Service

The Village of Morton Grove is the latest Illinois municipal aggregation to return customers to Commonwealth Edison for supply, citing a lack of savings, the Chicago Tribune reports, which also notes that the Village of Niles' muni aggregation is also likely to drop customers to ComEd for supply

Niles does not plan to continue its opt-out aggregation, "because there's no more value left in it," Niles village manager Steve Vinezeano told the Tribune
