Municipal Aggregation Could Add 100,000 Customers

June 29,2016

Communities with some 94,000 customers are joining California community choice aggregation Marin Clean Energy in the coming months, which, depending on the opt-out rate, could increase the aggregation's customer count by about 50%.

Marin Clean Energy currently serves about 170,000 customers

New communities joining Marin Clean Energy include American Canyon, Calistoga, Lafayette, City of Napa, Napa County, St. Helena, Walnut Creek and Yountville.

Marin Clean Energy also announced that its standard 50% green rate is now below the price of PG&E supply, by about $1 per month for an average residential customer
