Duke Energy Ohio Lowering Default Service Electric Bills

Duke Energy Ohio announced that as a result of new electric default service rates, residential power bills will fall by about 4.5 percent.

As a result, a typical residential customer who uses 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month and purchases electric supply from Duke Energy Ohio will pay about $118 per month beginning with their June bill. That's down about $5.55 from May.
