ComEd Touts Record Enrollment In Utility Value-Added Critical Peak Rebate Service

June 03,2016

Commonwealth Edison said that this year a record of nearly 160,000 ComEd customers have enrolled for Peak Time Savings, which is a no-obligation critical peak rebate program

Customers can earn a $1 credit on their electric bill for every kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity reduced during ComEd's Peak Time Savings hours

The program is open to customers regardless of their electricity supplier (open to both default service and shopping customers)

More than 52,000 customers saved $385,000 in just a few short hours last summer by reducing their electricity usage during high electric demand periods, ComEd said
