Discount Power Customers Have Statewide Savings of Almost $1 Million in 2015 According to Recent Analysis
The analysis reviewed the price performance of competing suppliers, and Discount Power was one of only 12 retailers that showed savings in 2015 out of a total of 32 suppliers reviewed in Connecticut.
Discount Power, Inc. (“DPI”), a competitive supplier of electricity based in CT and serving customers in Eversource and UI territories showed savings of $952,000 for its customers in 2015 as determined by the State of Connecticut’s Office of Consumer Counsel’s Electric Supplier Market Fact Sheet. The analysis reviewed the price performance of competing suppliers, and Discount Power was one of only 12 retailers that showed savings in 2015 out of a total of 32 suppliers reviewed in Connecticut.
Discount Power currently offers fixed rates to Connecticut residents that are below the standard offer rates of Eversource and UI. They also offer additional value adds including $1,200 per year of rewards for shopping and dining. Discount Power also feels strongly about giving back to the community and offers various non-profits to select from when signing up for Discount Power to provide a charitable donation through its Generate Hope program.
