Illinois May Examine ComEd Supply, Transmission Cost Allocation, Rate Design Used in Assigning Costs

March 30,2016

The Illinois Commerce Commission had on its agenda for yesterday's meeting an order to initiate a proceeding on the ICC's own motion concerning an investigation of the manner in which Commonwealth Edison incurs electric supply and transmission services costs and the rate design used to determine the electricity supply charges and transmission service charges, in order to provide for the recovery of such costs from all customer supply groups.

The ICC did not take up the item at yesterday's meeting, and said that it was postponed to a future meeting
